My group did a trip yesterday heading East of Morgan Hill then north on the Coyote Creek path to Metcalf park. Whereas taking a break within the park, I assumed I noticed a bunch of canines off leash coming into the park and puzzled whose they had been, however after they received nearer it turned out it was a wild mama pig and her half grown piglets. Mama is the massive black one to the best of the rubbish can that claims “San Jose” on it.

We had been shut sufficient to get an honest image however after we tried to edge up nearer they ambled off:

Wild pigs are an issue to owners on this space. They dig up lawns to get at grubs residing beneath. I don’t if that’s what this household supposed. Perhaps they’d strive the grass within the park first after which transfer to lawns of close by lawns.
After our wildlife journey we headed again to Morgan Hill for lunch downtown. It was a pleasant trip on a fairly heat day for this late within the season.
